What Logsteps is
Logsteps turns a slow walk around a room with your phone into a 3D model: step back into it, replay your walk, measure it, pin notes on it, share it with a link and edit it on a computer.
Capture with a guided camera walk, upload a video or import a PLY or GLB file. The 3D reconstruction runs on a scan station with an NVIDIA GPU using the open-source lingbot-map model. Public rooms can be explored without an account.
Who it's for: Home owners, renters, designers and anyone who wants to share a room in 3D

Questions
What do I need to scan a room?
A phone with a camera. Walk slowly around the room; the app takes about three sharp frames a second and warns you to slow down or add light.
How is the 3D model made?
On a scan station: a computer with an NVIDIA GPU running lingbot-map (Apache-2.0). The app shows the queue and live progress.
Can people view my room without an account?
Yes, through a share link. Shared rooms open in the browser with Orbit, Walk and Plan views.
